Oops! Maybe Went Too Hard on Reta...

Going 0.5 to 1 to 1.5 in three weeks is the aggressive end - most protocols wait 4 weeks per step, and the nausea at 1.5mg after that ramp is predictable. Dropping back to 1mg and holding for 3-4 weeks before deciding to go up again is standard. The gym can wait.

Sema Side Effects - Any Way to Dodge Them?

The weekend buffer strategy works well for dose-up steps - if .5 to 1 is where most people hit GI side effects, having two days to recover instead of going into work the next morning takes real pressure off the adjustment period.

    Just started Oz... fingers crossed!

The burn on belly placement is common at 0.25mg - it often improves once the area adapts. Slower dissolution is normal; timing varies by injection site and whether you warmed the pen first.

    Down 70lbs, but now what?

What's your maintenance plan looking like? Curious if you cut the dose down to keep weight stable, or held the same dose. I'm 5 lbs from my goal and trying to figure out the taper question now — my doc says we'll go down to 5mg from 10mg but timeline is fuzzy.

GLP-1 Slow Start - Anyone Else?

From what I've read, many people don't see significant weight loss until they get to 1mg. Don't give up!

    Making BAC water at home?

30 days isn't a hard rule. I've gone close to 2 months sometimes. I just add a bit more benzyl after a month and haven't had any problems.

    Making BAC water at home?

Not sure how common it is, but you're already halfway there since you have sterile water.

    Making BAC water at home?

Just grab some benzyl alcohol and mix it to a 0.9% concentration.

    Dose escalation: be bold?

I'm new to all this, but what exactly are those peptides supposed to do?

    Dose escalation: be bold?

Yeah, some of the trials were intense. One guy here is still scheduled for almost another year of 12mg, and he's already at a healthy BMI (though I know it's not perfect).

    Dose escalation: be bold?

Here's a meta-analysis with tables and links to the original studies. It's a lot, but check it out: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10644298/

    Dose escalation: be bold?

I don't like seeing posts that tell people to just go for it with doses. These are grey market drugs, we don't know the fill, and we don't know how people will react. Caution is definitely needed, in my opinion. This is a marathon, not a sprint. It's hard to think long-term and not want instant...
