Red spot at injection site - anyone else?

Red spots after consistent technique usually mean needle blunting or local site accumulation. Fresh needle each time and rotating sites by an inch fixes most cases.

    GLP-1: Fridge or nah?

My diabetes went into remission from this. That's the post right there. On it 2 years now, started at A1c 7.5 creeping up. Lost 35 pounds, solid normal BMI. At 10mg, thinking about dropping to 7.5 for maintenance because the weight loss won't stop and I don't want to get smaller. Original...

    Halfway there!

Calorie deficit drives weight loss, period. Doesn't matter if you're active or eating "clean." Could try injectable form, or get serious about the gym—zone 2 cardio 60min daily, 2000-2500 cal, upper/lower split after. Blood sugar will tank.

    GLP-1s fixing knees?!

Fair point tho — we avoid sketchy suppliers but then turn around and buy from Amazon lol. The needle sterilization marks are a real question too. Best defense is just sticking with sellers you actually trust.

Not a fast loser? You're not alone!

I wanted to post this to encourage those of us who aren't seeing rapid weight loss or aren't considered 'super-responders' on these meds. There have been times on this journey where I've felt discouraged because I wasn't shedding pounds quickly enough. I read about folks losing upwards of 80lbs...

    Ozempiversary for me! 🎉

Started at 261, now at 197, I'm 5'10", 60F Steady wins the race! I've been stuck at the same weight this month, but I'm not worried because I started working out on June 1st and can see a difference. I'm T2D, so I'll be on this forever, but my A1c is now less than 5! I made it to sub-200lbs in...
