    Inflammation and joint pain help?

The inflammation mechanism is the thing that doesn't get enough airtime - joint and autoimmune improvement on these meds is real and consistent, not a coincidence. The PBM coverage catch penalizes you for it working.

Generic oral sema is coming - compounding versions already exist.

    Vendor Status: "Restricted"?

It literally means what it says. They cannot post here or do any deals through the forum anymore. It could be something as simple as they didn't pay their dues to remain a sponsor, or it could be they broke the forum rules, or didn't fix problems reported by a bunch of customers.

    Mounjaro making me crazy?

Yeah, it's weird when food loses its appeal. Like, what's the point of anything? LOL. Seriously though, I hope you find something that brings you joy again.

    Mounjaro making me crazy?

That's probably because my HRT isn't working as well anymore (which is a thing with MJ). I'm 40 weeks in. Came home from work to find my husband chopping mushrooms for dinner (I usually do the cooking) and I totally lost it. He hasn't spoken to me in 2 days. I decided to get some HRT patches...

    Losing weight FAST?!

Prior users re-titrating Wegovy often skip the 0.25mg step and move through lower doses in 2-3 weeks instead of 4 - receptor familiarity means the side effect ceiling is established. The scale usually takes 2-4 weeks to restart after resuming, even at a working dose.

    Mounjaro making me crazy?

Actually, my mental health has improved a lot since starting. I'm under a ton of stress at work, and I don't know how I'd be coping without it.

    My clothes are too big!

If I could do it again, I'd wait until I hit my goal weight, OR if there was a special occasion. If you're going to buy new clothes, go to thrift stores, clearance sales, or yard sales.

    My clothes are too big!

Hit up some consignment shops! I've gone through tons of jeans since I began losing weight. Most of them were super cheap, like under $8. And they're decent brands too!

    GLP-1 Feelings - Day 3!

Just finished my first month at 0.5mg and going up to 1mg tomorrow. Down almost 9 pounds! Fingers crossed the weight keeps coming off. Only side effect has been a little bit of heartburn on shot day.

    BP still high on GLP-1s?

That's interesting, I did start feeling better after a few weeks on Tirz, but chalked it up to losing the weight and being able to move around better.

    BP still high on GLP-1s?

Definitely going to encourage them to do more investigation. It’s unlikely to be some other cause, but can't hurt to check.

    BP still high on GLP-1s?

Could you share the specific model you use for home BP monitoring, and if it comes in a large cuff size?

    BP still high on GLP-1s?

No, they haven't looked into the secondary causes, as far as I know.

    BP still high on GLP-1s?

Has your doctor looked into secondary causes of HTN? Stuff like renal artery stenosis, pheochromocytoma, etc.? Feels like those should be ruled out, too.

    BP still high on GLP-1s?

Are you still taking your BP medication? What's your dosage of reta?

    BP still high on GLP-1s?

I'm with you. I dislike the thought of needing meds forever. I hoped weight loss would get me off BP meds, but no luck. Same for metformin. I don't see a good reason to stop metformin usage though.

    BP still high on GLP-1s?

I did experiment with stacking reta with tirz. Didn't really see a difference versus only high dose tirz, like 13mg tirz vs 7.5 tirz+5reta, but I'm willing to try again. I'll stick with it longer next time. I'm guilty of eating lots of processed foods. I just started tracking sodium intake and...
