8 weeks on GLP-1 - anyone notice?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Didn't notice much since I only tried it for a couple weeks. Thought maybe the tirz was underdosed. Might have picked up 2 pounds, if that.

Was on 1 mg of semaglutide years not dropping but holding. Started tirzepatide lowest 4 weeks back thought I needed bumping to 5. Actually gained on both. Need guidance on what dose and stack might work? Got 25-30 to go any thoughts?

I try to cap it at 3 pins on my busiest days. My main med, maybe a small-dose secondary, and either one thing or another. If I'm doing more than 3, I gotta ask myself: is this hobby or health? What else could I be doing with my time?

Eight weeks in and stepping to 7.5mg is the dose range where the suppression effect typically solidifies - most people notice the visual change before the scale catches up around this mark. The 5mg to 7.5mg step usually brings a noticeable shift in appetite floor.

Lost about 11 lbs in 25 days on this med but almost all of it dropped week 1 and 2. Now I'm stuck in a range. Taking my 5th shot, going up to 5 mg. I keep reading about people hating the 5 mg dose, so I'm worried. Did anyone restart losing once they got there? Or slower from here on?

totally get the confusion when no side effects at the new dose makes it feel like nothing is happening. the absence of diarrhea isn't a signal the medication stopped working, it's a signal the body has adjusted. appetite and scale are the actual markers to track at 7.5, not the side effects. what's the hunger pattern like compared to where you were at 5mg?

definitely not just you, ya know? the frequency and intensity changes at the new dose are well documented and come up pretty consistently at the 7.5mg transition. the body takes a few weeks to settle at each level. gonna get easier once the adjustment period passes.

going from 10mg down to 2mg is a massive step down - that's gonna feel like nothing after running a therapeutic dose for that long. the body's baseline shifts and 2-3mg just isn't covering what it was before. what was the reason for stepping down so far - sides or something else?

the 'stop and retest' approach is actually the cleanest way to get a read if the timing question is the issue. a couple of months off would tell you whether the labs track the medication window or don't. 8 weeks at 7.5mg is early enough that the picture could still be shifting.

Not much choice at this point since the stronger shots were already bought. Weight dropped from higher up to a lower number by the close of week five, that being week one on the middle dose. Numbers held roughly flat across the next stretch. Recently dropped further still, mostly since eating had slowed to almost nothing. Mentioned to the nurse practitioner that progress had frozen for a while and got told to move up to the stronger amount.

If it turns out to be more than needed, I'll get in touch again and ask for a reduction. Planning to work in a few of the tips shared here going forward, we'll see what happens. Could just be timing, eating late, or choices that weren't ideal.

Eight weeks in and down about 9 kilos. Side effects were brutal when I first started. Ended up splitting my weekly amount into two smaller shots and that's kept working well for me since. Despite losing a solid chunk in month one, hunger suppression barely showed up at all initially. Only really kicked in these past two weeks, and now hitting my calorie and macro targets has become a genuine struggle. Electrolytes made a real difference managing the stomach-related side effects too.

That's exactly what I've been saying, feels like now that this medication's been around longer, more people are picking up on it. Not that long ago the common line was that tolerance just doesn't happen with this drug class.
