9 Months, 2 Stones Down - Slow & Steady Wins?

awesome that you're celebrating the slow wins. been on two months and losing so slowly i cried last week. everyone else seems to drop tons but i'm doing everything right. feels good to hear small changes count.
 
Same thing happened to me. Lost 10lbs in the first two weeks, then it slowed to roughly a pound a week after that. Started bumping the dose gradually around week six. Currently sitting at about three-quarters of a 5mg dose weekly. Still losing about a pound a week. Planning to keep any future increases slow though. Side effects those first couple weeks were rough, way better now.
 
This second round around, nothing much happened until hitting 1.0.
Last time I only made it to 0.5.

Second week at 1.0 now, down about 3kg.
Six weeks at the starter amount, eight weeks at the half dose, and now on the full milligram.

From week zero through fourteen, I'd guess roughly 1.5kg total came off.
So dropping another 1.5kg just from hitting the 1.0 mark feels like huge progress.
 
Didn't weigh myself that first month since I didn't own a scale yet. First weigh-in came 57 days after my initial dose and by then I'd lost 15.3kg, about 9.9 percent (month one at 2.5mg, month two at 5mg). Currently on day 288 and down 59kg total, roughly 38.3 percent. Still need to shed 15kg more to get under 30 BMI. Been holding at 10mg since December.
 
Two months and 7 pounds, that's nothing to sneeze at honestly, I'd be thrilled with that pace. Slow and steady gets you there in the end. My own labs already improved after just two months. Keep going!
 
Had to look up 11 stones in kg, roughly 69kg, so not a big number. From a lighter start, percentages make more sense than chasing a set number weekly. Aim for half a percent to one percent of body weight weekly, measured on a monthly average, since weight moves in lumps. My PCOS improved massively on Mounjaro, alongside Metformin. Ten weeks or so was my time at 2.5mg, as far as I recall. It was still working, so staying longer was likely smarter, yet I went up following a three-week stall. Another three-week stall followed, and with extra effort and patience I started losing again at the same dose.
