A year of weight loss shots!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
One year in and the little victories just keep happening. Clothes falling off without trying, that feeling of actual space in the tub. When you do the math in terms of how many water bottles worth of weight that is, it blows your mind.

man that sounds rough. glad to hear from someone who's been through it. my doctor had me start using protein powder pretty early on to help keep muscle around. been mixing a little fiber powder in there too and it actually helps with everything

A full year is pretty wild. My provider shifted the conversation around month 12 to focus on keeping the loss steady instead of chasing more.

slower loss helps with the loose skin thing. everyone's skin bounces back different though. lost about 30 pounds since november and yeah, some looseness happened, not sure how much the peptide itself caused. what really would've helped is hitting the gym while losing—muscle fills things out. you're young, skin's still elastic on your side.

Started at 238, began treatment a year back. Just hit 199. Drop of 40 pounds feels amazing. Really happy since my weight didn't tank as much during the break when insurance had issues.

on this since early january and i'm down 30 lbs. did 2.5 for two months then moved to 5 and stayed there. i'm on blood pressure meds too and my doc just had me hold one—looks like i can drop a medication. dizzy spells stopped once we adjusted.

Same here - it's allowed me to drop weight I never imagined possible. No HRT needed either. Wish I'd found this sooner instead of spinning my wheels for years.

Extending Wegovy to every 9-10 days works for a lot of people without losing the suppression - the half-life is long enough that 8-12 day intervals still maintain meaningful trough levels. The one-year mark is a good reference point for knowing what your maintenance dose actually is, which helps calibrate when and how much to extend.

The body image lag is well-documented - up to a year for the internal picture to update is realistic, and that gap is part of the regain mechanism. Fifty-five pounds with a clear target from here keeps the physical progress ahead of where the mental model tends to pull back to.

The stomach reaction fixing itself by switching to the thigh is something people often figure out later than they should. 2.5 years at 15mg with consistent results is a real long-term data point. What does the year over year trajectory look like - has the rate of loss stayed consistent or changed at the higher dose?

44 here, surgical menopause, diabetic, plus some cardiovascular trouble in the mix. Kicked off with a BMI reading of 31.1, weighing 181 (not much height to work with). Coming up on a year on MJ now. Dropped 42lbs across the 2.5 and 5 amounts. Hit a plateau, moved up to 7.5 and shed another 25lbs. Sitting at 3.75 for maintenance these past several months, staying within a 5lb range the whole time. Genuinely grateful for how well this one worked, since ozempic did nothing at all previously. And yeah, seems accurate that most people who respond the way I did tend to be younger.
