small bruise and sore after injection, bends wrong and i feel it. got it thru my provider and she said bruising is weird for such a tiny needle, try a different spot. just looking for reassurance it's okay.
 
stable a1c of 5 for a year at a consistent dose is a really clean outcome. the quarterly check-ins tied directly to refills is the kind of structured monitoring that actually catches drift before it becomes a problem. 135 total with 116 of that since mounjaro is the kind of data point that makes the long-term use argument easy.
 
The diet-alone lipid and A1C improvement is solid baseline data before the GLP-1 results come in. Having both sets of labs over time is actually the cleanest picture of what each intervention is adding. Have you started the GLP-1 since and if so how do the markers compare now?
 
Honestly, for the majority of us running MJ, this hasn't been a walk in the park. There's a reason 50-75% of people drop off GLP-1s inside a year. It's not the easy path. For plenty of us dealing with diabetes, PCOS, whatever else, it's genuinely the only route that works.

Worth remembering, MJ is medicine for an actual medical diagnosis. Same as taking any other prescription. Side effects come standard and you learn to work around them.

Still, it's been a genuine lifesaver for a lot of people. Only 30 pounds down for me across three years, but my blood pressure's normal now and my A1C's close to it too. Only medication left is a statin, after decades on three separate blood pressure prescriptions, a bunch of diabetes meds, and stuff just to counteract side effects from all of it.
Feels like I've been handed extra years of life. The fight has absolutely been worth it, though I'd never call it easy.
