Aunt's health is declining on Tirz :(

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Does she have a prescription for an anti-nausea med, the dissolving tablet kind or similar? Honestly not much else to do besides nausea medication and staying hydrated. Just has to ride it out unfortunately.

Was part of a clinical trial running tirz, and it came with a required 60-day washout before I could start anything else. Eased into reta the way most trial protocols do, stepping the dose up every four weeks starting from the bottom. Different approach than what most people around here do, running their own numbers through a half-life estimator. Spent roughly twelve months on the trial's 15mg weekly tirz dose, so that washout stretch was a solid reminder of what life feels like without this drug class in your system.

Tirz genuinely knocked my inflammation down to almost nothing, ran it for over two years before my body stopped responding to it. Switched to reta six weeks back, and I'm finally seeing some appetite suppression kick in, though it's not touching the inflammation side at all so far... we'll see.

One thing worth factoring in, past a certain age for women, bone and muscle loss really starts kicking in. I'm 64 myself, running zepbound for several years at this point, and started running plus lifting at the gym specifically to push back against that, along with eating properly. So she might be sitting at a BMI that's technically low for her height, and usually once you're a bit older it helps to carry a few extra pounds as a buffer in case of a fall, especially if the bone and muscle side isn't being actively addressed. Might be worth focusing more on nutrition as the actual fix here. Also had some hair thinning myself on this medication, nothing too dramatic though, not worried about it.
