Big Food Strikes Back at GLP-1s?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Addicts to food might need these forever. Once weight goal hits old habits just creep back because you were starving the whole time on normal diets. Only way I'm quitting is if they make something that fixes the hormones permanently.

OCD is brutal. At least when something like that is the root, you can work with it instead of fighting yourself. The direct communication style makes sense then.

love this energy! question for you though -- are you vegetarian or vegan? struggling to find meals that keep my blood sugar steady without the rollercoaster effect. curious what your typical plate looks like

Bitter taste, low appetite, headaches first few days are pretty common. The headache's probably no food or caffeine. Even if not hungry, small simple stuff keeps your energy up. Avoid long stretches without eating. Usually settles week or two in.

4 weeks into Mounjaro at 2.5mg. Drinking 3+ liters water and eating small protein-heavy meals keeps side effects minimal and blood sugar steady. Ib symptoms mostly gone. Push too hard on fiber and I get some gi stuff—slower digestion, probably.

Food noise is genuinely rough to manage. Definitely worth finding support for that specifically. GLP-1s can work wonders but effectiveness sometimes fades over time, so having a backup plan matters if that happens.

Expect this trend to keep growing. Food companies noticed glp1 users care less about flavor and more about protein and nutrient density. Articles keep saying manufacturers want to build products around this shift. Reality so far is just a scoop of protein powder, maybe a smaller portion, same overprocessed base product underneath. Then they wrap it in slick marketing and hope nobody looks closer.

Spotted a frozen single-serve meal at Walmart with a big glp1-friendly label slapped on it and had to laugh. Ingredients list was still garbage underneath the marketing. Barely 30g protein in a chicken dish too. Somebody's gonna grab that off the shelf thinking they're making a smart choice.

Guessing North America's seeing similar numbers, maybe even bigger. People are eating and snacking noticeably less, which tanks food company profits. Only gets more pronounced as glp adoption keeps climbing.

They'll probably shrink portions for a while as a stopgap, but here's the thing.

Companies engineering their products to work around GLP-1s. Came across that idea maybe a year back. They're greedy enough to figure it out eventually.

We're living through an era where corporations rarely choose the ethical path on their own. Kind of depressing honestly.
