I've been thinking about a preventative brain health program for a while now, especially with concerns about TBI and age related decline. I'd love to get some feedback on my ideas. Here's what I'm considering:
* Once or twice a year, a 10-day course of something like Neuralyze at 60mg/day via IM. I'd hold off on other brain enhancers during this period and for a week afterward. Start slow, maybe 30mg for the first couple of days, to check tolerance. Heads up: this stuff comes from pig brains.
* Neurogen peptide, maybe 300-600 mcg SQ for about 2 months, could combine with another peptide.
* Some other peptide, 300-600mcg SQ for 8 weeks with or without Neurogen.
* A nasal spray, once or twice daily
* For something like CerebroBoost the dosage is uncertain, and sourcing is tricky. Maybe a 3-day/week protocol for a month or so, a couple of times a year.
* If you're trying to lose weight or dealing with metabolic issues, a tiny dose of a GLP analog, maybe once a week to three times per week.
* Red light therapy with a device designed for the brain, 20-30 mins/day.
* Daily sauna sessions, maybe with red light as well.
* A good curcumin supplement, daily.
* CoQ10, daily.
* A low-carb diet, plenty of omega-3s, aiming for ketosis often.
* A daily multivitamin.
* No alcohol!
* Maybe microdose nicotine, if that appeals to you.
* Consider melatonin or a prescription sleep aid if needed.
* Daily exercise.
* Daily reading.
* Daily prayer or meditation.
