Brewing my own BAC water?

Yeah, sure, you *can*. I could also bake cookies. But just because I *can* doesn't mean I *should*, especially when I'm going to inject it. Also, do not inject cookies. That is not their intended purpose.
 
Well, in theory, sure you *could*. Practically speaking? Not so much. I mean, people can build crazy things. I remember reading about a kid who built a tiny nuclear reactor in his bedroom. Seriously! Compared to that, making bac water seems simple enough.

(I realize you've already decided against it, Salad_Life, but it was a fun question to answer!).
 
I'm going to be so irritated if Salad_Life manages to delete this thread. I want a whole bunch of replies saying "Yes, you could also construct a scooter from pipes, a soldering iron, and a go-kart tire, but it probably won't be comfy". "Yes, you can render bacon fat into soap, but it'll always smell vaguely of pig no matter how many essential oils you add; the lady on TikTok doesn't know what she's talking about, she's nose-blind" "Yes, and you can turn cardboard boxes and ducks into fertilizer, but it'll be a slow process."
 
Why not? You can order sterile water. Wouldn't all you have to do is add the correct proportion of the correct kind of alcohol?
 
Seriously, just use the stuff from a real pharmaceutical company! Like the other poster said, water is hard to properly purify. Any mistakes and you'll get stuff growing. I'd rather spend a few extra bucks for a sterile vial than risk injecting some random homemade concoction. Please research and question your decision!
 
I was chatting with an anesthesiologist about my messing around with research chems, and when I mentioned that a specific brand was hard to get, she said I could just make my own. We changed topics before I could get more details.
 
Hey guys, I'm new to this. Is there like, a standard amount of bac water to add to a vial? Like, if I get a 5mg vial from a research site, how do I know how much water to add?

It's generally recommended to reconstitute 2mg of peptide with 1ml of Bac water. So, for a 5mg vial, you'd add 2.5ml of Bac water. A pin, every 5 units is equal of 100 mcg. If you're taking a dose of 500mcg, that's 25 units. There are some calculators online that can help with the math if you need it.

Yep, 2ml of bacteriostatic water is the right amount. Be careful when you add it, though! You want to let it slide down the side of the vial, not inject it right into the powder, because that can damage the peptide. After you mix it, you'll have 1000mcg per 1ml.
 
The vials sometimes have a vacuum inside, Old_Dad's right about easing the water in gently. I usually pull the plunger out of the syringe a bit to equalize the pressure before I inject the water.
 
The bottle opener just pops the cover—easy to take the whole top off if you're not careful, which happened to me. Try a simple metal one that applies pressure to the center of the cap and breaks the weak stamped area between cap and cover. If your caps are actually defective, get sterile vials, filters, and 1.5" needles. Rip the top, reconstitute, filter into a new vial.
