Can't seem to, ya know, GO! 😩

OK, TMI time! It's been like 72 hours since my last BM, and all I'm getting are these tiny, hard pellets. I tried a dose of that Miralax powder the last few mornings, drank tons of H2O, even had overnight oats with chia seeds hoping for some relief – nada. I used to take that liquid stuff at Walmart, but I'm unsure if that's safe now that I'm on this med.

Maybe cut back on the fiber for a bit? It might be making things worse. Think of it like a clogged drain – adding more stuff just makes it worse. You might be bordering on impaction if it's just little rocks, so maybe consider an enema?

You could take Miralax every couple hours until things get moving, NurseFam. Maybe up it to twice a day normally. A suppository could also help. Milk of Magnesia or mag citrate can also be helpful. Make sure you're walking a lot too, that helps with gut motility. If you get severe pain/vomiting or stop passing gas, go to the ER.

Colace magnesium citrate gummies have seriously helped me. I take 2 in the early afternoon, and then 2 before bed. After a couple of weeks, I went from tiny pebbles every 3-4 days to a normal BM every day, sometimes even twice!

Update: I'm trying 4-6 prunes a day, spread out, plus tons of water and two kiwis (for their mild laxative effect). I've also started a probiotic, but no noticeable change yet. I'm usually going every 3 days or so, but I don't feel uncomfortable or have any urge to go. I also add psyllium husk powder to my oatmeal. It's basically Metamucil without the artificial stuff. Fingers crossed!

Drink more water and add more fiber! Fam, I'm in the same boat because I didn't drink enough water this week. The pellet poop life is real.

Once you get it under control, keep your water intake up and focus on fiber, not just protein. When my protein/fiber ratio is off, I have problems. I eat tons of cruciferous veggies and high-fiber fruits like apples, citrus, and berries. Fiber is your friend, not just protein. Balance is key.

Adding straight fiber makes me stop up, but lots of watery veggies, especially cruciferous ones, gets me going again. I think the veggies need the water content to keep everything moving.

I saw someone mention an app? Is that really helpful? I never thought about using technology for this! I feel like I need a little GLP-1 capybara reminder myself! lol
