Coming off GLP-1s... anyone done it?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Do it. I'm 52, five-eight, started around 215, menopause hitting hard, now at 175 ten months later. My arm skin is way tighter than expected. Nails are strong again too. Arm skin might be luck but getting strong nails back post-menopause? That's something I did by losing weight.

Hi, new here. Looking into GHK-Cu, thinking 2mg daily long-term. Some folks say zinc helps because of the copper content—anyone here using it? What's your dose if you are?

r/glpgrad is the right resource for tapering and stopping protocols - the community there has collected a lot of first-person experience that the clinical literature hasn't fully addressed yet. The cold turkey vs. gradual tapering question has a clearer answer there than you'll find from most prescribers.

The half-dose trial before stopping is a reasonable middle step - it tells you whether the side effect you're managing traces to dose level or to the mechanism itself. The insulin resistance concern at lower doses is real but typically much less pronounced than at therapeutic doses.

having both tirz and cagri available when stepping off sema makes a lot of sense as a safety net. the receptor difference means you're not just trying to cover the same mechanism again if things get rough. split dosing worked well for me as a transition approach too.
