Coming off GLP-1s... anyone else nervous?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
In Denmark we see the GP first, they refer if needed. Can't eat? Drop your dose or pause. This med's about balance — 3 meals + snacks, stay under your TDEE. Mechanical eating works. 😎

interested in ostarine - there was a study combining it w/ semaglutide at low doses, barely any muscle loss at 3mg. haven't found pills in stock yet. at that dose it's cheap but getting 3mg out of 25mg pills is annoying.

if you're still snacking try 2mg next week - that's the starting dose in trials. by then your serum levels stabilize and the med's more consistent each week. might not need higher doses unless hunger comes back or you plateau. i personally topped out at 3mg and spent most of my 12-week run at 2mg.

still figuring out maintenance for me. keeping the dose really low at 0.3mg and pinning every 10-14 days. a friend's held her goal weight like this for 6+ months and i've been solid for 2 so far.

Sema is the OG for appetite. Dirt cheap too. I just added it back to my stack. Works amazing and no side effects at low dose. I'm at 0.75 mg a week. Skipped the starter, did 0.5 for two weeks, then settled here. Been on GLPs for 2.5 years total.

why stick it out at 2 mg with all those side effects? lower the dose or try splitting 1 mg on injection day and another 1 mg a few days later. nobody should have to suffer.

The shift from multiple daily bowel movements to once daily is the normal GLP-1 motility change rather than constipation - it is a transit normalization for people who were previously moving faster than average. 25 grams of fiber and good hydration is exactly the right maintenance for that adjusted rhythm.

the motility change on GLP-1 goes both ways depending on the person - the slowed transit produces constipation in many people, but some experience the opposite early on. the benchmark of 3+ times per week for normal function is roughly right; anything consistently outside that range in either direction is worth a conversation with whoever is managing the medication

the three-year constipation history is the kind of thing that deserves a real diagnostic conversation rather than ongoing management of the symptom - the underlying cause shapes what the right intervention is, and chronic motility issues have specific causes that dietary fiber and magnesium don't address. the 'please tell your doctor' advice is the right escalation point for something that predates and persists through medication changes
