CPAP machine collecting dust!

Switch to auto-mode. After waking, scroll the display to see your average pressure from last night. EPR might help with air swallowing. When you're done, either keep auto-mode on or reset to your average nightly pressure.

49f on hrt. 4th shot tonight, no side effects yet. food noise went quiet right away. no more sugar cravings, ditched energy drinks and random shopping too. lifting 6 days a week, 2 miles daily. probably helps that i eat clean most of the time. added 10-15 lbs from peri that won't budge, so hoping this helps.

the Sleep Number data skepticism is fair - any device that is also trying to sell you a better mattress has an incentive structure that shapes how it presents your sleep data. the comfy is non-negotiable either way; the biometric readings are probably more useful for trend direction than absolute numbers, assuming your habits and environment stay roughly consistent

Nope, California here. Got sleep apnea and a high BMI to go with it, so Zepbound was my ask but insurance only approved Mounjaro instead. Two weeks in now. Not complaining, just caught off guard reading your comment.

Of course resubmitting's an option. Just need to check whether insurance actually covers Zepbound for that specific purpose. Sleep apnea's still on record even without CPAP compliance.

That said, really try wearing the CPAP nightly. Adjustment happens eventually. If it's genuinely bothering you, might just need a different mask or headgear setup entirely. Sleep apnea itself makes weight loss noticeably harder though. Shed a serious amount of weight once before, and adapting to that machine played a central role in pulling that off. Changed things dramatically for me overall, and I'm closing in on 17 years running one now. Plenty of moments it drives me up the wall, but it's genuinely transformed things for the better too.

Worth digging into why tolerance is an issue and solving that specifically. Plenty of mask and headgear combinations exist depending on sleep position and comfort preferences.
