The variability in customs outcomes depending on origin warehouse is genuinely unpredictable and seems to shift without much warning. Just shipped some sample vials out to a testing lab overseas today, US to Central Europe. Yeah, customs concerns were definitely on my mind.

Issue is that Temu, likely the largest Chinese retailer shipping into Europe, set up warehouses locally specifically to sidestep customs friction. Meaning far fewer parcels will be crossing directly from China going forward. Could end up affecting us too, since customs will have a lighter overall load to inspect.

Placed a decent sized order Friday too, hoping it clears without hassle. Asked for the package value to be declared a bit higher this time, figuring that might smooth customs processing. Two anxious weeks ahead.
