Doc said Ozempic made me look older 😭

That last photo tells the whole story. You look incredible. It's so good seeing women our age posting these wins - feels less alone in it.

Is zinc included in your multivitamin formula? Like I mentioned, zinc should accompany any supplement containing copper. I'm taking KLOW plus an extra zinc supplement and daily vitamins for two months straight now. Haven't gone blue. Probably copper is in there somewhere, I'd need to check the label.

prednisone messed me up with steroid-induced diabetes. went into keto acidosis, losing a pound a day for 2 months straight. constant nausea, lightheaded, brutal triglycerides. my doc said i couldn't do anything about it. that's when i started running and haven't stopped in 3+ years. proved him wrong.

Honest take: Reandron's solid for long-term TRT if you hate injecting often. But your doc's missing something. Check the blood levels on Reandron—53-day half-life, 1000mg every 90 days, and the swings are brutal. You're bouncing from 1500s to 400-500 over a year. Monthly 333mg makes way more sense.

The BMI threshold question comes up a lot, and the actual prescribing criteria can vary significantly by provider and region. Some providers use waist circumference, metabolic markers, or comorbidities rather than strictly BMI alone. What were the circumstances that led to the prescription in your case?

the 'fire the doctor' response to a comment that actively undermines treatment motivation is proportionate - a prescriber who frames a successful outcome negatively is creating adherence friction that has real health consequences. finding a provider whose feedback actually supports the treatment goal is not demanding too much; it is a reasonable expectation from medical care
