Dosing chart madness!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Every 5 days for almost a year now, started after 15mg for over a year. Felt about the same, bit more appetite control. If you're stalling, maybe try a different GLP—I got way better control on Oz. Even Trulicity helped more.

1mg every 3 days here too. Started at 0.5mg planning to go weekly but hunger got me—did another 0.5mg after 3 days and stuck with every 3 days. After a month I bumped to 1mg.

Checking an extreme dosing schedule before following it is exactly right - some of what circulates in these spaces is genuinely dangerous because it conflates what's possible with what's optimal. Caution with unverified protocols is always the right default.

The first month of reading everything is the right approach before starting. The scary dosing chart that circulates on some forums comes from a very different context than standard GLP-1 use. Starting conservative and building from there is the approach that works for most people regardless of what the circulating charts suggest.

Learning everything before adding reta to the tirz is the right sequence. The scary chart context is worth having because some of what circulates around reta doses comes from a very different population than most people on tirz. You gotta know what the standard range looks like before you can make sense of the outlier schedules.

Would recommend studying up on the terminology involved and really nailing down the difference between milligrams, milliliters, and units, since even with explanations already provided, dosing mistakes still seem like a real risk.

Curious if anyone's had success or trouble spacing the third compound out every other week, based on something a doctor mentioned in a video I watched recently. Pretty much at my target already, might give that spacing a try.

Not sure honestly, but there's apparently a genetic variant that caps weight loss around a small single-digit percentage for some people... also had thyroid panels come back showing a low active hormone marker, borderline low on the free version too, which definitely ties into metabolism.

Everyone keeps saying the starting amount here was extreme. What's actually documented is a smaller opener followed by roughly doubling on the next titration step... versus the informal community approach where everyone starts this compound at a tiny fraction of that and stays there for half a year, complete with an entire thread's worth of it's not working posts?

Had a rough day at 1.5mg myself. Highest amount I could comfortably tolerate landed at 1mg twice weekly. Got a friend who just started the third compound a couple weeks back, and she's seeing solid appetite suppression at that exact same amount, so no need for her to push higher either. Frankly, nobody should be jumping into huge starting amounts with this stuff.

Read that the manufacturer's acknowledging cases of unusually strong responders now, though they're calling it 'very rare.' Not buying that framing at all.

Planning to start the third compound sometime within the coming three weeks (currently running twice-weekly doses of the dual-action medication). Got a stockpile of the larger-strength kits since that math lines up with my expected usage, same reasoning behind stocking the bigger tirz kits too... but I've also got a couple of the smaller-strength kits arriving that should let me ease in at a lower amount before working up.

I started reading up on reta and kept seeing hints about kits. Then a random Facebook comment mentioned this forum, and I found it right before I would have bought a 10mg vial of Reta blindly. So glad I did.

Everyone's going to run a slightly different protocol, which is totally fine, but mine looks a bit different from the usual.

Here's what I'm doing:

Six-month cycle
Every single day (the whole five-days-on-two-off pattern mostly saves money and doesn't have much clinical backing)
A fixed combined dose of both peptides together

Worried that sticking to the shorter end of that range wouldn't show much improvement. That said, nothing here is objectively wrong, everyone just has to figure out what fits their goals, budget, and starting point.

Edit to add, really enjoying following your third-compound journal, looking forward to seeing how it goes!

I think I see the issue. You feel better with the dosing schedule Lilly tested and approved and distrust the homebrew one. My rebellious streak makes me want to push boundaries on my own, hoping to cut cost or discomfort, instead of accepting rules from authorities, lol. This is a golden age of DIY programs, where people compare notes here and elsewhere. The spirit is that I'll find my own perfect dose, which may differ from yours, but I'm curious what others run in case I missed something. Punk rock GLP1, made by regular folks for regular folks. Others want an official guidebook, and trial data gives them that. The cowboy attitude may come from realizing rigid step-ups weren't necessary. Plenty of us could have done fine at 5mg, yet the Official Schedule said climb every 4 weeks.

Some people sit at about 4mg of Reta and choose to layer other glps on top well before reaching half of the ceiling dose. I suspect the phrase 'max dose' spooks people who don't fully understand how this works.
