Down 100+lbs! My GLP-1 journey so far

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Hi everyone, thought I would give a little update since I've posted here before.

I began around 298lbs and I'm currently around 190lbs.

I shed about half of that with a GLP-1 med. The other half came from starting on a stimulant for my ADD and refining my food choices with better habits.

The GLP-1 was awesome for curbing hunger and quieting food cravings early on. But treating my ADHD was the real game-changer. Once things were calmer upstairs, the constant need to overeat for dopamine faded, making sustainable habits possible.

It wasn't always easy, but this combo finally broke cycles I had been fighting for years. If anyone has questions about timing, plateaus, different meds, or the mental game, I'm happy to share what I know. If you are just beginning or feeling stuck, don’t give up. You may just need a different strategy.

That's fantastic! I commend you. What sparked your initial drive and how long did you manage to stay focused? I'm struggling to stay motivated.

Also, what kinds of exercise did you do? Cardio, strength training? And how often?

Congratulations!
You look amazing!
I am on a similar path, trying to combat obesity and depression, and stories like yours give me hope and keep me motivated!
Also, the loose skin is minimal. I suspect it will improve quite a bit. I hope so!

I've noticed some weird things since starting sema. Has anyone else had weight loss show up in strange places? Like I'm seeing new hollows and tendons in my hands I never noticed before.

Yes! My wedding ring is loose now, I almost lost it at the supermarket!

I'm honestly surprised at how much smaller my face is. I didn't realize how much fat I carried there. And Thin-Possible I also have those new hand hollows - hadn't noticed them until you pointed it out!
