I swear, if I didn't keep a photo log, I wouldn't even think I've made it this far. Some days it's hard to see it, so I'm really appreciating the monthly check-ins with myself.

I started on the injections last October, and I was tipping the scales at 190. Before this, I was totally lacking motivation, dealing with pain every single day from my RA, and just didn't have the energy to do much. Slowly I started walking, then added some weight training sessions in November. In Jan, I started yoga! I'm tracking my calories and making sure I get enough protein and fiber. I learned it all from you guys, so thanks! I was just reading posts for months before I had the guts to try and change my life. And for the first time in like 10 years, I feel like myself again and I can finally cross my legs!

So here's my halfway point check in! My waist was a whopping 40 inches in October. Today it's 33. Just as a reference point, I'm super short at 4'10.

I've been finding what works for my body. Thanks for that resource. Additives definitely cause inflammation for me - rice powder flares my joints. Oxalates in things like legumes and sweet potatoes can be an issue too but pairing them with dairy like sour cream helps bind the oxalates.

I'm getting my sema through some online telehealth place and I am seeing results too. Not losing as fast as some people, but progress is progress!

Thanks, @Drew_19! I didn't realize how much pain I was just dealing with every day. It's like a slow fade that you don't notice until it's gone.

If palpitations bother you, get a smartwatch that tracks your heart. Fitbits are affordable, though Apple Watch and Garmin are superior. I use an Apple and it alerts me to different heart events if I want. I check my rate throughout the day and get a sleep report each morning showing peaks and lows while I slept. I use it during workouts to keep my pulse in the sweet spot for dropping weight.

Do you still have that original white vest? I tried mine on from my first pic and barely recognized myself. Can't believe how snug it used to fit. If you've got it, throw it on for another massive confidence boost. Those results are astounding.

Two sixty starting, one ninety nine now at five mils. I had to weigh three times to believe the number. Haven't seen this weight since two thousand one. Had to share.

I'd say don't stress too much about being perfect. If you gain a couple pounds, they'll come back off. Your body probably needs that shock to the system now and then.
