Down 40 in 9 weeks on Wegovy!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Came off mounjaro and kept it off. What worked: gym 6 days a week, minimum 4 hours cardio weekly, not beating myself up for hunger, allowing bigger appetite now that I'm off, some days eating more is okay, lots of water. Cold turkey gave me more hunger and low blood sugar but nothing crazy.

40 in 9 weeks from 270 is a quick start - 4 weeks at each dose gives the baseline the next step needs.

Smaller portions and staying hydrated get most people through the first wave - it does ease up for most in that 4-8 week window.

Mid 50s and 'it just wouldn't budge' is such a common turning point for telling your doctor. Starting in January and already 40 down in 9 weeks on Wegovy is a strong response. What dose are you at now and how does appetite feel compared to where you started?

254 to 232 on Wegovy and now transitioning to reta at week 2 of 2mg is an interesting sequential approach. The Wegovy establishing a foundation before adding the amylin receptor pathway is a different strategy than starting with reta directly. How was the appetite response on Wegovy compared to the early reta weeks?
