Down 56lbs since late spring '25!

Independent limits from health agencies make more sense than arbitrary numbers. FDA endotoxin limits and CDC body weight data would work. FDA max for tirzepatide is 15mg, average US person is 84kg — that gives 840 EUs max for a vial. If I'm taking 18mg, that's my risk. Product should be safe up to label.

ss-31 runs without a pause. i do quarterly cycles: 5mg daily for 20 days, add 2.5mg of the other peptide the last 5 days, then 2 days off and continue the other 5mg 3x week. lower dose upfront stops the shock.

you carried 198 well! just started mounjaro at 198 too, 3 weeks at 2.5mg. rough first two weeks but feeling good now. already down 9 lbs. stoked to see where this goes. you look great, keep it up.

Downward trend is what matters, not any individual week. I started at about a pound a week too and it's definitely slowed to more like a pound a month now. That's actually normal as you get closer to where your body wants to settle - the rate slows, not the direction.

Six months in at .75 and holding there rather than pushing to 1mg because the nausea is too much is the right call. Staying at a dose you can tolerate beats pushing up and stopping entirely. How much progress has the .75mg made in the time you've been there?

Started near your weight and same pattern - first 20 quick and then slowing to half a pound a week. Frustrating but still moving. The 56 in the OP is what staying in it through the slow phase looks like. What dose are you on?

Did you climb the dose every single month, or hold at a lower level once it started working for you? Just curious, I'm nearly a year in myself, bloodwork looking great, over 50 pounds gone, but I've been stuck at the same number for months even after moving up to 12.5. Honestly makes me feel discouraged, and I'd rather not climb higher or switch medications since it feels like I'm messing something up. Really happy for you though, seeing others succeed keeps me motivated! Great work!

Constantly going back and forth on this. Been in maintenance for a good while now. A moderate amount is what it takes to keep food noise away, but staying on it too many weeks straight leads to gradual further weight loss, so the routine involves longer gaps or a smaller amount to prevent dropping further. Went from a much higher starting weight down to a much lower one. Given age and having had a few kids, there's genuinely no need to go smaller, even though the body would probably keep shedding weight if allowed to. Pretty happy with how things look and feel, and would rather not field more comments about looking too thin than already happens, so holding steady here. The whole target kept shifting throughout the year since responding this well was never something imagined as even possible.
