Hey guys, been a minute. I'm down just over 70lbs since last summer. It's been pretty smooth, but I did get gallstones. Keep an eye out, I thought it was just the Mounjaro at first but I ended up in the ER twice! Turns out it was just the massive weight loss. Besides that, Mounjaro's been amazing, totally changed my world and my relationship with food. Used to be a total binge eater, now I eat to fuel up.
Winter was rough, caught every bug going around. But when I wasn't sick, I was hitting the gym hard - weights, Pilates, yoga, and about 20k steps every day at work. I haven't been eating enough protein, so I probably didn't keep any muscle. Honestly, I wanna stop Mounjaro soon so I can focus on bulking up. Gotta eat more, which is tough right now. I've been spacing out my doses to help with that. I'd drop the dose or stop completely, but the gallstones are a problem. Eating less keeps the attacks away. I want my gallbladder out, but the NHS isn't rushing that.
It's weird adjusting to my new body. I definitely have body dysmorphia and I've had to get a whole new wardrobe a few times, but I still buy sizes that are too big because I can't believe I'm a medium. Ready for the next phase - building muscle and pushing my fitness limits. This drug has been life-changing.
