Down 70lbs... Maintenance tips?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Also down 70 and working on toning up is the parallel track the OP is probably thinking about. The maintenance and the muscle side tend to go together - the medication keeps appetite managed while the resistance work protects what you have. What's the current approach on the toning side?

Still on it, yes, 2.5mg since January. Total loss so far is 27 pounds and I'm now under 100 pounds myself. Didn't expect to respond this strongly to the drug, so there's been no reason to increase the dose. At this point I'm just in maintenance mode.

Planning to stay on for maintenance since I'm pretty close to target now. What's the duration been for your current regimen? Curious what compound, what dose, and the total loss so far?

Spent three months at 2.5, another three at 5.0, six months at 7.5, and the rest of the weight loss phase at 10, well over a year total. Dropped back down to 7.5 a few months into maintenance.

Been on the same dose since starting back in August 2025. Dropped 20 kilos total. Shifted into maintenance mode come January, still holding at that same dose. No requirement to keep climbing if the current amount is doing the job.

Wow! Fantastic work! You're looking amazing. Since you asked, personally I don't see much reason for further loss, seems like you're ready for maintenance mode. Genuinely believe this is deeply personal though, so do whatever feels right for you specifically. Still floors me how many unsolicited takes I get about my own weight. Sure, most of it's well intentioned, but it's honestly overwhelming. Congrats again, hope you land on whatever feels right for you :)

Only four pounds away myself, so right behind you! Isn't this dual-action medication incredible?! So glad I stumbled onto it and this community!
Planning to stay on for maintenance? Originally figured I'd stop, but it seems more likely I'll keep going for a while, maybe indefinitely, to hold my weight steady without the stress I used to deal with.

Exactly the same here! Most of my loss came on 1.7 (I did reach 2.4 for a few months during the main drop), then I tried 1.0 for maintenance, holding steady for around eighteen months, but food noise returned and I regained roughly 8 pounds, so 1.7 is back in my routine, which suits me far better.

Same boat as you. I've never really tried to maintain. My ultimate goal is roughly 2kg away. At 56, it's my first healthy weight since puberty (the years my skinny kid frame turned grandma-shaped). Loss has slowed to a crawl, so honestly maintenance probably won't feel very different. I'm happy where I am, but 2kg more would make me half my highest weight.

honestly just eat reasonably and things will work out. two months into maintenance now on a reduced reta amount, eating pretty much whatever within reason. i avoid the obvious junk, frozen dinners, buckets of ice cream, stuff like that, but my overall intake is still noticeably smaller than before all this started. having a few more beers these days too. weight's staying steady and the belly area seems to be gradually shrinking. picked up strength training and situps as well.
