Down 90lbs in a year! Woot!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
buddy got denied cpap after a heart attack based on one study showing high airflow doesn't give the cardiac protection everyone thought. still should use it, just lower settings to cut inflammation. he snored forever before weight gain, but before the loss he'd snore just sitting on the couch.

The 90 lb mark for finally getting new underwear is very relatable - so many people wait until they can't avoid it anymore and then wonder why they waited. Four months of actual comfort in the basics is a quality of life win that doesn't get enough credit.

70 lbs down and not seeing the difference despite clothes that don't fit is such a consistent experience. The visual adjustment to the new body takes much longer than the actual weight loss - most people describe it taking 6-12 months after reaching goal before the perception catches up. You absolutely will look different in photos even when you can't see it in the mirror.

Dropped somewhere around 20-30lbs myself and same experience. People tell me wow you've lost so much and I'm thinking, where? Still feel like a 300lbs person even sitting at 250 now (was already losing before mounjaro, just leaning on it now to quiet the food chatter)

Progress on the second compound was already gradual even before I switched over to the newer one

Honestly sometimes I forget where I actually started, 121kg, and how far it dropped, down to 85-86kg on the earlier medication... just adjusting to a slower pace now I suppose....

Going to ease into the newer compound gradually and check back in on how I feel after another month or so...

You're spot on about wanting instant results.. blame it on same-day shipping culture lol

Took a while before the changes really registered for me too. Last week the doctor overseeing my weight loss and separately someone from my aerobics class both pointed out how visible the difference had become.

Usually the loss shows up first around my face and chest, but this time around it's been coming off through my midsection instead, so clothes fitting better was the first sign, though it wasn't obvious to anyone else yet. It's finally leveling out and the loss has spread everywhere, so now other people are noticing too.

Great job on your own progress. Definitely bring up that weakness with your doctor though. Happened to me too, turned out I wasn't eating nearly enough overall, especially protein.
