Down a clothing size already!

Started at 340ish, a UK size 28. Now I'm around 250 and fitting into size 20 clothes. Seeing real changes now!

Pictures show it better than I can describe. Super happy with how far I've come, almost at that -90lbs mark. I'm thinking it has to be more than a fifth of my total body weight gone now! Began my MJ journey in July '24, and it's been a consistent downhill ride since then. I'm eating healthy food of course, and I'm exercising at least 3-4 times a week. Pole is my main thing and I absolutely am in love with it. It's so much simpler when I'm not dragging around all that extra baggage. I'm finally feeling like my true self again after so many years. My mom says I'm like a walking billboard for weight loss now lol so I figured I'd share! [☺️]

Dude, that's awesome progress. Love that jacket you've got on in the 'after' pic – did you get it to celebrate your hard work?

Big congrats on losing the weight! It's obvious that you were disciplined and put in the effort... this isn't just some "effortless" thing that some people think it is!

Actually, if we do the math, you've dropped nearer to 27% of your body weight than 20%:

344 (starting weight) - 253 (current weight) = 91 lbs lost so far

Let “P” = percentage of starting weight you’ve lost.

91 = P / 100 x 344

26.5% = P = 91 lbs [💪🏾👏🏽]

Did you add in any cardio? And what kind of foods are you eating, if you don't mind me asking? Trying to get some meal ideas here.

Thanks everyone! I'll try to answer a few questions... I don't restrict any food groups, but I try my best to eat reasonable portions and to eat mostly whole foods. For cardio, pole dancing is my main thing, but I'll occasionally go for a walk or a jog. It's mostly about enjoying myself and not stressing too much about it.

It's interesting how people measure progress differently. I'm down about 30 pounds, which is apparently the same as losing a medium-sized Labradoodle!

You absolutely should share! Your story helps others.

That's really encouraging IF-warrior. I've only dropped like 18 pounds since July and I've been increasing the dosage gradually. I was starting to get discouraged, but maybe slow and steady is just how it works for me!

I'm totally fine with where my body is right now. The fact that I dropped sizes without the gym or obsessing over food is wild. I wear smaller clothes than people who look way different, but I'm not stressed about it. Taking this medication and just... letting it work has been the move for me.
