Down a pant size... or two!

I've gone from a 44 waist to a size 40, and I'm already using the middle notch. It's interesting when people can tell you've shed pounds but hesitate to comment. Anyone else?

I'm in the market for new belts myself. I'm on the last hole and still hike up my pants when walking. There's a gap of several inches at the waist as well, so new pants are likely needed. I'm a middle-aged guy who's dropped from roughly 175 to 150 over four months, thanks to Ozempic for T2 diabetes. My cardiologist suggested it to lower my A1C, which just came back at 5.9, down from maybe 6.7 before I started.

That's awesome! You'll feel so much better in clothes that fit properly. It's a great reward for your hard work!

Has anyone noticed people treating them differently since losing weight? I'm curious about others' experiences with that.

No real advantage differentiating them usually except psychology lessons help - like using smaller plates or getting dopamine elsewhere. Things get complicated though.

The pant size milestone lands differently than the scale. 44 to 40 with room still to move - that kind of progress shows in how you carry yourself. The world treating you differently is real, but the internal shift usually comes first.

Electrolytes daily plus keeping intake above 1000 is a useful pair - the electrolyte gap tends to show up as fatigue and headaches, which can look like the medication's effect but is usually correctable.
