Down to a size L!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Always such a great feeling moving into new sizes, takes real progress to drop a full size. Jumping from XXL to XL is genuinely a big deal. Congratulations!

Went shopping with my closest friend and she kept pushing me toward smaller sizes but I still reached for the XL and L every time. Honestly I was probably always an L my whole life, but anything remotely snug feels unbearable so I always sized up, especially worried about shrinkage in the wash. Kind of sad looking back, buying bigger clothes felt like shrinking myself down mentally, when really I was just hiding. Plenty of larger women out there own their outfits confidently, I just never let myself do the same.

Same over here. I've been hitting thrift stores and grabbing one size down, then two, so it costs almost nothing. Ross, the maxx and marshalls too, I try on all of it. After twenty years as a 2/3x, landing in an XL or L feels kind of unsettling. And yes, I still see the same me in the mirror even with the weight gone. Not self-bashing, it just doesn't register.

Yay! Back then I wore kids' sizes for tops and jackets. Should I return to that number I doubt they'd fit this time unless I had plastics on my arms.

nobody warned me that dropping from 1X to XL wasnt actually the finish line. went and bought a whole new wardrobe midway through my weight loss. now im a size M and ended up tossing all those pricey brand new XL clothes. total waste of money looking back.
