Energy Boost Stack?

I'm a 47F who recently switched from 1mg Ozempic to 3.75mg tirzepatide and finally saw movement on the scale after six months! I've dropped about 17 lbs in a month, even though my appetite's higher and I'm eating more. My constipation is also gone. I was at 250lbs, now I'm 203 at 6'.

My problem is energy. I've struggled with fatigue due to a sleep disorder for years, even before starting any GLP-1 meds. I'm taking Provigil for excessive daytime sleepiness, but it only helps a bit.

I got clean from meth about 3 years back, gained lots of weight, and ended up with a sleep problem.

So, I'm looking for advice about what supplements or protocol would give me the most energy during the day without breaking the bank.

Which would be better, a regimen of SS31 and MOTS-c, or a NAD+ supplement protocol? What are the pros and cons of each?

Thanks for the input!

If you keep the dose low, NAD+ might offer more of an immediate kick.

However, SS31/MOTS-c might be the better long-term solution for repairing your mitochondrial damage.

I just started taking Lipo-C with B-12. It seems to be providing some benefits, though it may be placebo, since it's only been a week.

But, honestly, the best, though hardest, way to improve energy is always going to be exercise.

After a long 12-hour shift, the last thing I want to do is lift weights. But I do it anyway. I have so much more energy when I work out regularly versus when I don't. Plus, I melt fat and maintain muscle. But the energy boost is the biggest reward.

Also, if you have symptoms of sleep apnea (snoring, headaches, daytime fatigue, etc.), get a sleep study done. My CPAP is annoying, but it makes a HUGE difference in my energy levels.

Thanks. I actually have both obstructive and central sleep apnea and I used a BiPAP machine for about 2 years. When my mask broke I stopped using it. I soon realized it actually didn't help. Even with the machine, I never reach delta sleep and barely any REM sleep because I have other sleep disorders. I think I will try DSIP

DSIP won't make you fall asleep faster, but it'll help you sleep deeper when you finally do. Check out Epithalon, KPV, and VIP for sleep, too. I'm on DSIP and Epithalon to regulate my screwed up circadian rhythm and other sleep issues. You might try getting a new CPAP first. Then try the peps. Sleep issues are complex and not very well understood. Fingers crossed you get some relief!

I want to chime in on the earlier discussion about BPC-157. While it shows promise for accelerating angiogenesis (blood vessel formation), there's a theoretical risk that it could promote rapid progression in existing cancers. Human safety data is limited. It's been around since the early 90's, yet there's a lack of comprehensive human studies. This lack of research raises concerns about potential carcinogenic effects. Proceed with caution.

I'm 68 and prostate health is something I think about. I've had minor prostate issues, but I'm interested in maintaining a healthy prostate. Many of the conventional treatments reduce DHT, which is bad for overall male health. Has anyone looked into the Prostamax peptide?

Thanks for raising that. Have you found any reliable studies of its effect on PSA levels or potential impact on cancer? Khavinson peptides have been used since the 70's

I was reading about MOTS-c and man, the science behind it sounds pretty good. But, still, I'm always a little skeptical until I see more real-world human data.

Have been cycling SS-31 with Mots-C myself. Started SS three weeks before adding Mots. Running 10 mg each daily without skipping. The energy lift from both is solid and blood sugar control from Mots is noticeable on my meter. Added NAD+ as well and love the combo. Will rotate it a few times yearly.

Started same day you did August seventh. At ten mil now and got more energy than years. Sixty pounds down mostly just cleaning house with it though. No fatigue or ahedonia issues just stomach problems if I eat poorly or overeat. Thinking about NAD. Never tried Survo. Your stack is pretty packed.

Have those weeks and just roll. If it happens again next week, might bump dose a bit. Make sure hydration and fiber are solid. Helps a ton. Low dose surprises me though. Splitting to twice daily might help. Zofran could work if you want half fifty.

could be age-related and not diet at all. have you tried minoxidil? hair loss is a known side effect of fast weight loss though. results probably aren't permanent unless you're already predisposed to balding. lots of women swear by biotin and prenatal vitamins for regrowth.

The sleep improvement on Tirz feeds the gym side directly - better rest at this dose range usually turns into more consistent energy within 2-3 weeks.

That's the wrong way to look at this study: 43.5% of Reddit commenters on a GLP-1 subreddit, not 43.5% of users. Most people aren't on Reddit. If you're posting here, you probably have an issue—that's selection bias. People with bad experiences post more.
