Epitalon is giving me genuine sleep improvements - first real night results

Preface:
Trouble staying asleep has been a lifelong thing. As a toddler, there was an actual house rule against leaving the bedroom before 6am. Once woke the parents up just to ask if leaving was allowed because the clock read '5:55'.

Usually running on 5.5 to 6.5 hours a night, with a full 8 hours happening maybe a handful of times a year. Falling asleep was never the issue, which is funny since that's what most supplements out there seem built for.

So a few nights back, loaded up a syringe with 2mg epitalon and took it during the usual midnight wake-up. Since then, a second stretch of deep sleep has shown up each time. Deep sleep was never really the shortage though, that part was already happening for about two hours nightly. It was the lingering grogginess afterward, lying there catching scraps of rem sleep instead of getting jolted awake at hours most people wouldn't believe existed.

Will update on this, but right now the feeling is genuinely great.

Dealt with this same thing on Sema for something like three or four months, and once I quit it my sleep evened back out fine. Just started Reta hoping the sleep trouble would stay gone but nope, it showed back up almost right away. Lately I am getting sleep, just nothing deep, more like hovering somewhere half-awake if that tracks. Lights out around midnight but I'm wide eyed again by 4am most nights. Sometimes drift back off, sometimes not. Giving it a bit more time before deciding anything drastic. Not thrilled about adding a pile of extra peptides purely to chase better rest. Magnesium at bedtime hasn't done much, but a THC gummy last night actually helped, planning to try that again tonight.

Same issue here. A few supplements changed everything for me, with no next day side effects. Someone on this forum suggested pharma GABA, and mine is a liquid in a calming blend. L-theanine as a pill is my second one, also a tip from someone here I think. Third is magnesium, a good one, again liquid. My sleep has slipped from what it was, but manageable. I fall asleep a bit easier (if my environment is perfect and my husband is not snoring, even softly), and I still wake around 2-3, but a bathroom trip, even if I do not really need it, gets me right back to sleep. Not my old sleep stats, but better than nothing, and I get zero grogginess the next day.

My sleep has always been poor, usually about 6 hours, or 7 on a good night, so after 4 weeks on reta I can't tell whether it changed anything. But I'm at my wits' end, since I'm in a harsher calorie deficit than usual and very active, so recovery matters a lot, and I'm convinced I'm messing with it by pushing so hard. I ordered a sleep peptide (DSIP) hoping it helps, plus another one that won't arrive for a while. I keep waking about an hour before an alarm that already goes off at 4:30 or 5, and I'd love to sleep right through. Exhausted daily, so I'm really hoping for something. Since discovering peptides I'd try anything that helps my sleep, since it can't get any worse.

I feel this post. Same here, insomnia for ages, yet adding Reta made it much worse. Now I take magnesium glycinate/l-theanine gummies and a thc/cbd gummy at bedtime and fall asleep fine, but I'm awake again roughly three hours in, nightly, and can't drift off unless I use a bit of ambien (approx 2mg). I never got past 4mg of Reta and I'm now trying to titrate down since I'm close to goal. Newer options such as Quvivq are said to aid sleep maintenance with less morning fog, but they are very expensive as they're new patent-wise, so I have not tried them.
