my partner's actually a nurse and she uses sterile water for hers. i feel safer sticking with bac personally, so thats what i go with. as for the hospira brand specifically, as long as the vial stays clear with nothing weird going on inside, ive used it up to 60 or 65 days out. the effectiveness graph starts dropping around day 90, and since most vials of mine only last roughly a month, that buys a decent cushion after mixing
