I'm curious how others manage this. I've been on a weight loss journey for a long time. I'm 5'6". I was about 330-340lbs like a decade ago. I had bariatric surgery back in '11. Got to 175lbs, then slowly crept back up to around 230lbs over several years. I started GLP-1s when I was around 230. Now 2 years later, I'm 155lbs . It's been slow, even with the meds, definitely not a quick drop. I lost about 35lbs in the first year, and I'm aiming for about 35lbs this year. I'd still like to lose another 20lbs or so. My family is acting strange. They say I'm too thin and don't need to lose anymore. They're acting like I have an eating disorder, which is ridiculous! I enjoy eating and eat 2-3 times daily. It's frustrating because I'm not actually that small. I wear a large and size 12/14. If I gained weight, I'd quickly be back to XL/size 16/18. My goal is to be in a size 4-6 range regardless of the scale. I've stopped discussing weight with them to avoid pressure. How do other people deal with this?
