Favorite healthy meals?

A huge part of getting healthy is eating well. Even with less hunger and fewer cravings, eating healthy is key to making lasting changes. What are your favorite healthy meals or ones you actually enjoy eating?

I didn't know until recently that you can cube almost any vegetable, coat it in avocado oil and spices, and roast it at 475 in a convection oven, stirring every 20 minutes until done. Summer and some winter squash work, plus potatoes, peppers, radishes, and root vegetables. So good!

I also keep yogurt with crushed garlic, dill, and salt on hand. It's great on everything, even as a coleslaw dressing.

It's not much of a recipe, but vanilla Greek yogurt with a tablespoon of peanut butter tastes like peanut butter pie. I eat it several times a week for protein and fat. It also helps me feel full before my weekly shot, which is great for getting through those last couple of days.

I recommend bean chili from Monkey and Me. Search them up, it's all healthy and yummy. Lots of protein, fiber and antioxidants.

I like a big cut of pork smoked for many hours. Since I eat less, I want everything to taste amazing.

I prep taco salads for lunches with ground turkey instead of beef. I brown the turkey with garlic, chili paste, coriander, diced green chilies, salt and pepper. I used to use taco seasoning packs, but I like to lower my sodium. I use a spring mix/baby spinach blend with homemade pico (red onion, tomato, cilantro, lime juice). I add a tablespoon of light sour cream, mashed avocado, and taco sauce. It's about 40g protein and under 500 calories per lunch, and very filling.

I haven't seen those. I'll have to look for them. I like HIYO drinks, especially the Blackberry/Lemon one. They have ashwagandha and other calming herbs. Perfect after a long day.

It's a Korean drink. Koreans are obsessed with zero-calorie foods/drinks and do it well. This drink is really satisfying.

Check Korean or Chinese markets, or Costco.com.

Here's my go-to meal:

* 3 Mr. Tortilla low-carb tortillas (buy in bulk, freeze)
* 100-150 calories of meat (turkey kielbasa, lean beef, venison, or bison)
* Greens and a little cheese, bacon, or nuts from a Marketside salad bag
* A thin line of dressing from the salad

Always good and easy to make.

It might not be great for weight loss because of the sugar, but ALDI's lemon Greek yogurt tastes like cheesecake.
