Finally hit my goal -- now what?

My doc says that type 2 diabetes doesn't just go away. You might be in remission, but you're always diabetic. Makes sense to me to stay on a maintenance dose.

Been on here documenting since day one, and I can finally say I hit the mark. Not sure if I'm stopping or continuing yet, but either way I'm lighter and feel way better about myself. Some days are still tough mentally, but we did it. Started Dec 26 at 195, goal was 135, and I'm there.

Been off for 2 months now after hitting my goal and maintaining. Dropped from 193 down to 125. Just turned 30. Feel so much better.

Backing the dose increase call. Some trials start at two mg. Maybe one mg twice weekly instead. Two at once hit me too hard, would still space it out.

When I started, I read everyone's achievements but never imagined my own since it seemed unreachable. Then it finally happened and I had to share the news. You'll arrive sooner than you think. I leaned on patience and faith in the medication. Good luck to you!

Hit the same wall. Insurance went from $25/mo to $117 then $1052. Switched to Zepbound direct from Lilly at $299–500/mo depending on dose. Started 5mg, back up to 7.5 next. Down 69 lbs so far and feeling it.

Protein-first changes what a meal looks like. Greek yogurt, eggs, cottage cheese, and lean meats tend to become defaults - they satisfy on smaller amounts. Fiber from vegetables fills the rest. Splurges still happen but the desire for them naturally shrinks over time.
