Finally under 200lbs!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
I treated myself to some new shirts that fit closer to my body. It helps to actually SEE the progress! I started losing weight in Dec '25 and am now down 30 pounds. Went from a 16-18 to a 10-12! It took about two months to see a major difference.

After 10 months I'm finally under 200. Ozempic and healthier eating and exercise got me here. Haven't been under 200 since high school like 13 years ago so this feels amazing.

On it for A1c, not weight loss, and my doc was careful — started minimum and went slow. No nausea, zero issues. A1c went 6.9 to 5.6 and I dropped 40 pounds just by eating better — 4–5 small meals instead of 3 big ones, more fruit and veg, less fried stuff.

solid progress, nice work dialing it in. appetite came back quick off-cycle tho. on maintenance at 2mg every 10 days, does it keep steady or does it taper before the next shot? i'm tryna get down to your first pic!

Had surgery, stopped for 8 weeks at 1mg maintenance, restarted at 0.25 like you. Slight nausea. Back up to 0.75 now, slow and my pace, not the maker's directions. Zofran is the best nausea med to keep around. Stop before you feel full — those last bites get you. Hydrate, probiotics, stool softener twice a day, teaspoon of MiraLAX daily. Keeps things moving when you go up.

Tracking what you eat honestly does help. Found an app that made it way easier to stick to meals that sit better with the med. Turns out eating better = feeling better, who knew lol.

Terrible advice, take the smallest amount that still delivers strong results.

If someone's seeing zero progress, chances are they haven't adjusted their eating at all either.

Been at this since March and only recently moved up to 1mg because .75 wasn't cutting it anymore, staying in a deficit and continuing to lose was becoming really tough to sustain.

Progress has stalled for me. Three years on this now. Took two full years to lose 112 pounds. Recently regained six of it, which has me on edge. Would love to drop another 50. Hoping whatever comes next in this drug class gives me the push I need.

If simply counting calories and running a deficit were enough on their own, without the medication quieting mental noise or extending fullness, people would've already solved this through sheer calorie tracking long ago. I don't count calories in a strict sense myself. I just eyeball a portion and try to stay near it. I keep a rough mental note of the calorie count on things I order out and make protein a priority when I can. Started this back in January of last year and have been at my target since September. Started around 170 lbs at 5'2, now sitting at 117. Peaked at 189 at my heaviest. Lost some weight on a different medication before the pandemic, but gained nearly all of it straight back once I stopped. Never once formally counted calories on this drug class. That said, I recognize everyone's different. I've got a close friend, her daughter, that daughter's spouse, a couple aunts, my mother, and my own husband, every one of them on this drug class too. None of us count calories and every single one of us is losing. My friend's daughter didn't respond at first on one medication, then switched and started losing right away. All of us are simply paying attention to our food choices. When these medications are doing their job and you're actually tuned in to your body's signals, dropping at least some weight generally shouldn't be that hard. That said, there are definitely people it doesn't
