Food noise still loud?

Food noise does quiet down but it's not a light switch. At 14 months I still get flickers of it, usually tied to stress or specific triggers. The background hum that used to be constant is mostly gone though. I think some level of it is just human biology that the medication dampens rather than eliminates. Has the timing around injections made any difference for your person?

Persistent food noise at 14 months on max dose often means tolerance to the suppression has developed - the receptor response plateaus on continuous therapy. The options are dose adjustment, protocol modification (split dosing, frequency change), or adding a complementary agent. The scale still moving means the caloric effect is intact even when the subjective hunger experience comes back.

Food noise persisting at 15mg for 14 months is worth evaluating the mechanism - some people find the GLP-1 effect plateaus on hunger suppression while it keeps working on satiety. A dose reduction trial sometimes paradoxically resets the food noise response. The behavioral piece - structured meal times, protein first, deliberate eating without screens - addresses the psychological component that the medication can't fully cover.
