When tirz got started, food noise suppression showed up within a day, and dosing held steady at the starting amount for the first couple months, several months later now at a much higher amount with a solid amount lost. Titration's gone slower than probably necessary, but that's fine. Hunger still shows up normally and eating happens when actually hungry, most days anyway.
That said, even with the obsessive food-thinking mostly gone, still a handful of rough days monthly tied to hormonal cycles, learning to eat well and avoid bingeing still took roughly a month to click. Food's been an emotionally loaded and addictive thing for a long time, and those patterns can take a bit to fade even with medication support, especially when there's a history of tolerating the physical discomfort that comes with bingeing.
Not usually a fan of suggesting this, but clearing the house of trigger foods and swapping in healthier, less craveable options can genuinely help. Another trick, promise yourself a non-food reward, like a massage or gadget, for every week without takeout or junk food. Fairly standard diet advice, but it might still help here.
