Fridge or no fridge after opening?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Wegovy pens are labeled for up to 4 weeks at room temperature after the first dose, max 77F - the label allows it but fridge extends stability if you're not going to use it regularly within that window. Most people leave the active pen out and keep backups refrigerated until needed.

first time i lost weight fast and easy, felt amazing. stopped when i got pregnant. started again six months after and it's half as effective. weight loss is slow and the cost makes me wonder if it's worth it anymore.

Wegovy packaging has evolved enough that the unboxing experience really does feel pharmaceutical-grade now - the sticker seal is part of the tamper evidence design.

Freezing reconstituted peptides degrades them - Reta after reconstitution should stay refrigerated but not frozen. Max cold on a mini fridge can get close to freezing depending on the unit; 2-4C is the target, not 0 or below.

The 'take what you need, keep the rest cold' framework is the right general rule for temperature-sensitive injectables - warming only the dose you're about to use while keeping the bulk supply properly refrigerated is standard sterile handling practice.

The countertop fridge for working stock and deep freezer for lyophilized powder is the standard two-tier setup - reconstituted working stock has a shorter stable window and benefits from easy access and consistent temperature, while unreconstituted powder is stable for much longer at frozen temperatures.

the branded GLP-1 pens maintain stability for a defined period at refrigerator temperature after first use - the standard guidance is to keep the pen capped, without a needle attached, in the fridge between doses. at room temperature the active window shortens significantly; going back into the fridge after each use is the habit that keeps the formulation stable through the full pen

The manufacturer guidance on Mounjaro is to inject from the fridge rather than warming to room temperature - cold injection is the default for branded pens, unlike some compounded formulations where warming helps reduce ISR. The needle gauge guidance for peptides like tesamorelin that have viscosity differences is practical; a smaller gauge on a warm compound versus a cold compounded product can behave very differently.

Appreciate that!! So as long as the fluid stays clean, keeping it refrigerated and wiping it down before each use should be totally fine.
Also really appreciate the info about the strongest dose, giving the first one a shot tomorrow.

Appreciate it. Avoided opening the fridge to check the packaging just to keep everything chilled longer. So hopefully these should still be fine, thankfully it's only a couple pens rather than several months' worth.

Yep. Got one of the newer pen styles sitting in my fridge right now. That photo was actually relevant to what the original poster was asking though, so makes sense.
