GLP-1 plateau? What's next?

I went to 17.5 first, and yeah, I inject every five days. There are studies going up to 25mg. But I probably won’t go that high. It's too expensive, and I've already reached my goal weight a bunch of times.

I was reading an article about the potential of semaglutide. Apparently it not only helps with weight loss but also shows promise in reducing cardiovascular risk, which is a big deal considering the history of some weight loss drugs. I think it was on the other forum somewhere.

Has anyone felt like their peptides stopped working?

I've definitely experienced this. It gets frustrating when you feel like you're doing everything right, but the scale won't budge. I've started tracking everything meticulously to see if I can pinpoint what's causing the plateau.

I hear you, @Pulse_Chick353. I'm also playing around with research peptides after being on brand-name sema. The difference is alarming. I was losing consistently, and now... nothing much. I think I'm gonna try switching things up, too. Maybe Tirz is the way to go? This whole process is such a mindf*ck.

It's interesting to hear how many of us switched from brand name. It sounds like the generic versions might not be as effective. Have any of you noticed a difference in side effects, too? Like, maybe the generics are causing fewer side effects because they're less potent?

Did the same jump from ozempic to mounjaro. Stuck hard for months then finally clicked around 10mg. Lost another 20 lbs since then! Protein shakes daily, walks with my pup, and honestly people here kept me sane telling me to wait it out. About 25 more to goal.

Definitely push hard at your PCP follow-up. Gallbladder stuff with GLP is actually pretty common, especially after dose bumps or fast weight loss. Don't let them brush you off — you know your body.
