Similar to standard pharmaceuticals, there's likely a sweet spot dosing range where peptides work best. Fall below that range and you're essentially underdosed, missing out on real benefits. Go above it and you risk things like toxicity, immune reactions, hormonal axis disruption, and other genuine concerns.
For this drug class specifically, there's extensive human data and real-world evidence suggesting amounts beyond what clinical trials established are likely fine and deliver real results. But for a lot of these other peptides, solid primary research is thin, and studies on pushing dosing well past normal levels are nearly nonexistent. Feels somewhat like uncharted territory generally, though I'd argue there's more at stake than just heightened side effects when experimenting with higher amounts on these lesser-studied compounds.
