GLP-1 users eating MORE chocolate?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
True. Bad as anything else. I smoke a lot more. Have Chantix from my doc but didn't want to start yet. Know that quitting messes with eating so was waiting.

been on 2.5 for 5 weeks and i'm so happy. finally feel in control after fighting weight for 40 years. plus now i have type 2 diabetes but for the first time i'm not spiraling. lost about 15 pounds so far doing low carb mostly.

Used to do low carb and keto for weight. Since Mounjaro started feeling sick if I don't eat carbs. The med bumps insulin sensitivity so I can finally do a balanced diet.

Same pattern here on Wegovy. I've started rationing — only chocolate after 7 PM, and only the dark stuff (75%+). Two squares is enough now where it used to take a whole bar to feel anything. I think the timing trick works better than trying to cut it out entirely.

Yeah, oddly enough week two hit me with sweet cravings too, but I understood why since I'd read and watched a ton about these medications before starting. Swapping snacks for better options helps a lot. Some dark chocolate options in the 70 to 80 percent cacao range, plus others sweetened with monk fruit, make for a much better choice. Also some zero-sugar versions of popular candy brands out there, though eating too many of those comes with its own consequences, ha. Seriously though, steering clear of artificial stuff just makes sense health-wise. Keep a bar in my desk and break off a square once a week.

Used to genuinely look forward to a small treat of chocolate every night after dinner, now barely think about it. That said, alcohol cravings are still very much alive for me, actually my main carb source these days, ha.
