GLP-1 woes... what next?

So, I started with tirzepatide, got up to 10mg, but didn't really drop any weight. I was super tired all the time. Then I moved to reta, also at 10mg, and didn't lose weight, but at least I felt okay. Now trying cagrilintide, and it's making me feel down. I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?

Are you at a healthy weight already? Maybe that's why you aren't losing any weight? Did you try semaglutide? I heard some people don't lose weight on tirz until they get to 12.5mg or 15mg. Everyones different tho, but dont forget calory consumption, protein, exercise, sleep, stress etc

I agree with @MochiMuncher, maybe give sema a try. I lost more weight on sema than tirz. It suppressed my appetite more. I'm on tirz and cagri for maintenance now. I had to stop sema eventually because of the side effects.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I am going to try to max out on Tirz, maybe 12,5mg, if that does not work, I am going to try sema (after doing some research about the side effects. I think I am going to start tracking my macros and doing some light exercise.

Be careful with these new drugs! Some are poorly studied experimentals. Be sure to research everything before trying it out. Know the risks!

The side effects I got from sema were mostly gastrointestinal stuff @lab-rat-life. Nausea, constipation, sometimes the runs... nothing too crazy, but enough that it wasn't sustainable for me long-term. Everyone reacts differently though!

real talk tho — storing 2+ yrs of peptides feels risky. the industry moves fast, and you might just end up with outdated stuff while everything else has evolved.

Prior GLP-1 exposure changes how the body responds on restart - tolerance builds and the starting dose rarely matches the original effect. Most people in that situation need to get to a higher dose or try a different compound.
