GLP-1s: Life Changing!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Sema killed my alcohol cravings hard when I started. Spent solid time sober, huge improvement. Life stuff took over though. Still drinking way less, maybe 50% of before. Started for metabolic stuff but really wanted it for the drinking. Let me know if you figure out which one works.

Started 2.5 in December, now at 10. Down from 245 to 172, goal is 165. High protein, walking, weight training. Month 2 at 10 with 3 more doses, then tapering to 7.5. The process is working.

Plateaued 4 months at 7.5 and thought it stopped working. Turns out I was at maintenance for my new weight. Dropped intake 300 cals and the scale moved in 10 days. What's your daily intake looking like?

This is my second run at GLP-1s, since I made this exact mistake the first time around. Had zero muscle left to burn calories by the end, and half the weight came right back within four months. Totally different approach this time. Now people compliment my physique instead of just the weight I've lost.

Not gonna lie, those first couple months hit way harder... barely any food filled me up and I wondered if that's just how everyone else experienced it too. Now fifteen months in, portions have grown quite a bit (currently in maintenance) and I'm starting to think this might actually be closer to what most people feel... no real way to confirm it, but I'd guess those early months represent an extreme rather than the typical baseline for someone not using a GLP-1.

Two years at goal weight now, 90 lbs lighter, on 7.5 of Zepbound. Pairing 16/8 fasting with the GLP1 was the magic for me. Keeping food quality high (nothing processed) and watching calories closely is required, or weight returns. I still keep a 16/8 window. Alcohol is gone from my life, and I drink water plus black coffee. I feel great, and keeping the same weight for two years still astonishes me. A step down to 5mg may be coming. Some friends take a GLP1 yet keep eating junk, and they feel awful, look rough and regain.
