Has anyone else noticed how those powdered greens mixes are everywhere again? All the insta-celebs are pushing them, especially for digestion issues and cutting down on the bloat.
I got some from a brand that's promoted by an influencer I think is great (samantha_pcos, huge fan), since it was half the normal cost. After taking it for a few days, I think it's been helping with both bloating and digestion. However, I do happen to be cycling TB-500 as well, so it might be the TB-500 kicking in, or maybe it's a combo of both. I won't have a solid answer until I quit taking one of them.
On the bright side, the one I bought is actually pretty delicious. Plus, it gives me a little extra fiber without the horrible heartburn I get from psyllium fiber. It also gives me a little bit of an antioxidant boost.
That being said, I've heard some people say that these kinds of supplements make their bloating even worse, which isn't that surprising since everyone reacts to these things differently. A lot of them have artificial sweeteners, which can cause gut issues for some people. Luckily, I'm not one of those people.
Thoughts? Has anyone else tried this kind of stuff?
