Healthy cereal alternatives?

I'm really enjoying this low carb cereal I found! It's only 170 cals a serving, zero sugar, and has 14g of protein. I wasn't even craving cereal, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I had it with some Fairlife skim milk - the filtering lowers the sugar. It's pretty good, and similar to other healthier snack foods out there.

I found it really got stuck in my teeth. I only liked the berry flavor. The peanut butter was okay, but the others? Yuck.

I tried it, ate one bowl, and threw the rest away. Felt like eating air. I might as well just fast. Cheerios are fine for me.

I think I'd rather just have regular cereal. I don't know what this stuff is, but from the comments, it sounds really processed. It's probably not very healthy, even if the macros look alright. Or I could just eat a hard-boiled egg. It doesn't taste awesome, but it kills the cravings.

I like the Fairlife protein shakes. They have 42g of protein for 230 calories. I'd have to eat over twice the calories of this cereal to get the same protein. I'd hit almost 90g of protein with Fairlife for that much. Plus, they taste good.

Someone gifted me a ton of boxes of the fruity type. I love eating it with almond milk and protein powder mixed in. It adds more protein and tastes like dessert! I wish it wasn't so pricey.

That's my problem with the Fairlife protein shakes. They're way too sweet for me. It ruins it. The Isopure protein shakes are better, but not as easy since I have to mix them myself.

I think people often overlook the protein to calorie ratio. It's super important if you're trying to cut calories. The diet industry relies on this when making a lot of these kinds of products.

My local store stopped stocking it, which is a bummer...

My current quick protein go-tos are protein shakes (30g), Quest snacks, Greek yogurt (I like the 20g protein ones), and cheese crisps or jerky. I also use protein powder, and for meals, I focus on meat and some animal fat, but not too much. Too much fat tends to make me sick.

Speaking of protein ratios, I've been trying to up my protein and lower carbs. Has anyone found that sema or similar meds make it easier? Saw someone online lost 15lbs their first month focusing on high protein, low carb.

I noticed something similar. The appetite suppression helps me make better choices, so I naturally gravitate towards healthier, higher protein options without feeling deprived.

That's awesome! I find it difficult to be creative with meals. What are some of your go-to breakfast or dinner options that keep you on track?

I've heard some people have amazing success stories. Like, someone dropped over 200 pounds in ONE year! They cut out sugar and kept carbs way under 25g a day, plus exercise regularly. That's some serious dedication.
