Hit my goal weight - now what?!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
I also gained and lost the same weight multiple times. It is really annoying and frustrating. I hope that I can finally maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Christmas threw me off a bit but I jumped back in quick. Lost 123 pounds in 11 months (took an 8-month break when I had my baby). Now just 7kg from my target weight. My BMI is at 26.6 though I suspect some loose skin is throwing the number off. Dosing 12.5mg every six days.

Have you actually made the lifestyle changes - diet and exercise - that keep weight off? You could also use a higher-dose pen and click less to save money. If you've only lost 4 kg it's not huge on the scale but other benefits sound real. Is compounded an option where you are?

First time taking progress pictures today. Too scared to look before this. Last year kept saying 'it's not that different'. But wow, it really is. I'm 34. Started at 185, at 135 now. No specific goal weight. Went from size 12 to size 2.

Amazing! Similar starting point in September 2025, was 260, five-eight. Down to 217 now on 15mg. Did you do anything specific? Diet changes or exercises? Great work.

been injecting a farm animal b12 product. started 1ml a day for 1mg of b12 plus other b stuff. didn't really notice energy boost so pulled back after a week to dig into safer doses. still figuring it out honestly.

Undecided between 0.6 and 0.7 when calorie mindfulness is already in place is the kind of decision that usually sorts itself out over the next couple of weeks. The OP maintaining 130-133 is what the long-term version looks like. Not tracking every bite but staying aware of intake is actually the more sustainable approach for most people at maintenance.

The minimum effective dose logic is right especially at maintenance - you're not trying to lose anymore, you're trying to hold. Stretching from every 7 to every 10 days at 2.5mg is the sensible way to find the real floor before deciding if you need to dose at all.

Third week and the first week and a half working well then the effect fading is the dose not quite high enough to stay at steady state. The OP at goal weight maintaining between 130-133 is the outcome - and the journey from that early third week experience to maintenance dose tuning is something a lot of people here recognize. What dose did you move to after the first couple weeks stopped working as well?

Down 40% of my starting weight, 47% off my highest point ever. Sitting in a healthy BMI range these days. On maintenance now, though I still randomly lose maybe a couple hundred grams here and there, even now.

Great news! You're about to figure out what eating to actually live feels like! I'm down to just one shot a month for maintenance these days. Kept 50 pounds off so far. Protein, water, and walking, that's the whole formula, friend!

Weighed in daily at the start, but as things slowed down I shifted to once a week, then eventually once every two weeks. Was getting way too fixated on not seeing the same early progress. Think it really matters knowing what actually works for you mentally.

Same experience here. Only really active on weekends and still seeing solid results. Definitely works best combined with diet and consistent exercise, but just curbing appetite alone makes a huge difference.

Started at a higher weight than you, roughly your age too, and I've dropped 35% of my body weight over 10 months, still moving steadily.

There's a group who only manage 20%, and when you probe into what they're actually doing to keep the momentum going, they usually don't have a solid answer.

If you're staying consistent with exercise, keeping a real deficit, drinking enough water, and taking your medication as prescribed, how would you not eventually get there?

That study showing a 20% average loss never tracked activity level or diet for those participants. Probably just folks who took the medication and did nothing else alongside it.
