Hitting Goals!

Hey everyone! I kicked off my journey in Oct of '23 weighing in at 247 lbs. I'm 5'8" and now I'm down to 180, totally happy with where I'm at! It wasn't a walk in the park, had to push through some side effects. Still need to stay on this stuff 'cause my A1C isn't quite where it needs to be, but the plan is to switch to a maintenance dose after my appointment next week.

You both look fantastic! It's wild how much younger your face looks. I'm only two months in and starting to see the same, feels like I've knocked off a few years. You're gorgeous!

Seeing these success stories is so inspiring. I'm just starting month three and feeling amazing. It's making me tear up a little lol. Congrats to everyone!

I'm kinda curious to know about your routine On_Deck. I'm four months in, concentrating on what I eat. I've made some progress, but I need to add a gym routine. Did you lift weights, or start with cardio?

I started with cardio at first, BrookEdit, just to get my body moving and build some stamina before hitting the weights. Then I gradually incorporated strength training. It's been a game changer!

It's amazing to see how much these medications can change lives! I've seen some incredible transformations, and it's not just about the weight loss. People are relearning how to live, as someone put it. Reclaiming their health is a huge win.

Lost about 75lbs, and keeping it off with strength training added in! It literally took off like two decades, you look amazing!

You look awesome in both. But it’s crazy how your face looks younger.

rapid loss hits the gallbladder hard. if you still have yours add bile salts fiber that kind of thing. but honestly slowing down is probably smarter. strength and nutrition focus after the fast part.

been on the starter dose a few weeks and some days my stomach is completely off—bloating, nausea, sometimes constipation if i'm not crushing water and fiber. started logging what i eat with symptoms and noticed patterns. heavier breakfast usually means nausea a few hours later. skipping fiber brings on the constipation.

You've still got part of your last 1mg shot in your system, and now the 2mg topped it off. Even after a week you're over 1mg total (half the 2mg plus leftover). Take it slow. Now you know 2mg is too much and you'll never do that again. 💪

247 to 180 with A1C still moving toward target is the combination that matters most - weight and metabolic markers tracking together is a better outcome than either alone.
