How do you guys hit protein goals on GLP-1?

Hey everyone, been training a good while and recently started looking into GLP-1 medications. Genuinely curious how people handle nutrition once appetite drops. For anyone lifting or doing structured workouts: what's the trick to consistently hitting protein numbers? Leaning on shakes more, smaller frequent meals, or shifting when meals happen entirely? Noticed any shifts in strength or recovery along the way? Trying to understand how folks balance fat loss while protecting muscle and performance.

Yep. Hitting daily protein and creatine targets consistently plus lifting three times weekly. Gained real muscle from it. Tracking progress with a body composition scanner.

Yep, definitely lost noticeable strength and stamina during my time on Ozempic. My top piece of advice is to lean hard into protein intake and keep strength training as consistently as you can manage.

Congrats. Just watch what you're eating since Ozempic slows digestion way down. From what I've seen, sticking to smaller protein-heavy meals makes sense since Ozempic can contribute to muscle loss.

Steady resistance training does the most for holding onto lean mass while dropping weight, muscle and bone density both. Protein matters, but it isnt everything. I was a protein fanatic before my GLP1, and now it turns my stomach a lot more. I'm giving myself grace and listening to what I feel. I still center meals on protein, but I'm also fine if breakfast one day is only a banana. I keep adding weight to my barbell too. Perfect shouldnt beat good.

Well, eating well is something I already understand (funny, right?), I simply couldn't manage it under all that food noise. With it silenced, 90% healthy and 10% not so healthy is easy ;). I work out three days a week (half an hour of strength work, nothing wild) and get through 1.5-2 liters of water. I wanted to stop tracking anything ever again and simply follow my hunger. On this dose my hunger cues came back to normal, the food noise stopped, and I drop about 0.5kg (1 lb) weekly, and zero hair loss. Mostly I wanted an ordinary life, minus a punishing workout plan, logging, or anything that feels suffocating. Lifelong weight management isn't what I'm after. I love the taste of healthy food, it isn't discipline.
