I'm curious about the durations of weight loss journeys around here. What works in traditional fitness circles seems different from what I see happening with GLP-1s. So, let's compare notes.
Typical fitness advice (roughly):
* 0.5-1% of body weight lost per week
* 10% total body weight loss per phase
* 10-12 week phases
I'm aiming higher with GLP-1 assistance:
* Target: 1.8% body weight per week (about 0.4 lbs/day)
* Goal: 15% body weight per phase
* Phase length: 14-18 weeks
Right now, I'm close to my targets, even after an 11-day break from training. I've dropped 8% of my body weight in 46 days (0.35 lbs/day). No slowdown yet, but I'm approaching the fatigue point. Hoping the Reta keeps me going strong.
