I feel amazing & zero side effects! ✨

I used to suffer from the WORST side effects imaginable; I was close to giving up on my GLP-1 journey. I experimented for about half a year with different types of fiber to try and combat the side effects. Today is my 2.5 year anniversary of starting, AND I just got an interview request from a med school!!!

Edit: 11/16 - Fiber recommendations!

- Fiber capsules from a store (gave me heartburn!)

- Preparing high-fiber meals at home (the BEST)

- Personalized health quiz

- Prebiotic drinks (DO NOT BOTHER. They just taste good!)

Looking good. And good luck with med school. The internship year can be rough, but after that, your options open up.

My fiber rec – eat a cup of blackberries. Pretty easy when you grab a container of them. Glad our local store has them on sale sometimes.

That is such an encouraging update. The confidence boost is apparent, and it's wonderful to hear the side effects are diminishing. Would you mind if I posted this on the community? It is a community where users post their progress updates and photos from GLP1 journeys, and this would really help others who are struggling starting out. Of course, you can share it yourself if you prefer.

The constipation has been a huge learning curve! Trying to find out what works for me. I just had my second injection, and I’m shocked how quickly it started. Right now I’m using a store brand gummy fiber supplement, mixing 2 packets of fiber powder in my water daily, and prunes. I’m thinking about including a magnesium supplement too. All this with at least 80 oz of water a day!
